Wow, im really tired right now, after returning home from my class's chalet held in changi aloha. i saw many great things around, and i really enjoyed my days there. here are some of the pictures taken from my trip, click them to enlarge.
Day 1 -- we arrived to the chalet house and were so delighted to do anything. we spent the entire day just to prepare food for our bbq.
the room i was given had a magnificent view from the window.
piror to the start of bbq.
the night of food feast was fantastic, there were a spread full of delicacy, squid ball, satay, chicken, fried rice, samba chilli sting ray, and the list just goes on and on. after some fine food, most went to sleep (they are not that sporting enough to stay awake) only left me, jun jian, kay heng and daryl wide awake. after dragging the long night till around 5 am, kay heng was complaining about his head after some short sleep and liquor, JJ came with an ingenious idea of having us go to the seven11 buy some panadol and have breakfast at nearby coffee shop. and so we set our foot to the coffee shop, to my horror it wasn't that near actually.
my grumble has stopped after i saw arsenal won hamburg in UEFA Champion League on tv at the coffee shop. and JJ was telling us that there was a table of transexuals near us, we all could not believe what we were seeing, some were even chioer than women themselves. but there was this particular transexual who was prettiest amoung her compatriots.
after some bioying at those transexuals, we left the place and found ourselves in a veri grand hotel toilet. Changi Village Hotel's interior was composed of tradional japanese and modernize design. if i ever open my hotel, i will make it look something similar like it.

some japanese wine display from a restaurant.
nice flower display.

.
before we continued our way back to the chalet, we stopped by the breach to take in some refreshing sea breeze.
the morning horizon at changi beach.
a big good morning at changi.
Day 2 -- today we embarked our journal to pulau ubin to cycle. after paying $2 to the healthy looking old sailor, he brought us to his boat and so we setted sail.

the channel between mainland and pulau ubin.
little flower pots on the uncle sailor's boat roof.

behind my back, is malaysia.

group photo in the boat.

jun jian, kay heng, myself and daryl.

memories are priceless.
.
once we touched down on pulau ubin, we went to the first bicycle rental shop we saw and rent some bikes. it just cost us $6 each for a bike to cycle around the island for whole day, really worth it man!
we began to cycle off road and landed ourselves at someone's private properity, we were being chased by the owner's dogs and everyone was frighten, especially the girls. we sped our way back to the starting point, but half way through we realize our friend, soo bin cycled to the wrong route and was trapped there by those hounds. that was then i found out from my friend that he got phobia of dog, that was funny to hear but everybody doesn't seem to think it was a joke. finally he managed to be rescued all thanks to a local uncle, he was able to drove the wild pack away and got my friend out from danger. we contnued our journal to another route, soon the sky began to pour.

this shot really reminded me of the scene from Lord of The Rings, where the hobbits tried to cross the road and was found by Nazgûl, the ringwraiths.
we settled ourselves in a hut during the rain, photo was taken by an angmo couple, thanks to them!
.
after the ride, we went back to the starting point and had our lunch, the food offered there were very kampong style, plain, simple and slightly more expensive than in mainland.

this was us after the trip to pulau ubin, and prior to our bath, yuckz.
we had many fun and laughter during our 3 day 2 night stay at changi aloha, and i will never forget the day my friends and i spent there. oh.. how i wish time can stop for a moment for everyone of us to stay this way, young, cheerful and energetic. this shall be the last class gathering we had once we receive our "O" Level cert in January next year, and i shall never forget all of them as my classmates. good luck to them during this holiday.
