For any PC gamers, when you tell them about Far Cry, the game. The first thing they will say is not the game play itself but rather the game engine. Far Cry was developed and release in 2004, which shocked the gaming industry with it's high level technology game engine called CryENGINE.

And now it's developer, Crytek, came out with a new game called Crysis using the CryENGINE2. The new engine uses the DirectX 10 and improve lighting and advanced rendering and interation system for vegetation. The result, photorealistic graphic display.
